Ted Watson

Ted Watson is a Sunshine Coast-based singer-songwriter and guitarist known for crafting emotionally charged music that resonates deeply with his audience. Seamlessly weaving elements of indie folk, rock, blues, and soul, Ted’s songs are as heartfelt as they are captivating. His journey began as the guitarist for his high school band, Any Given Sunday, where he honed his craft while soaking in small-town influences like Cold Chisel, Dire Straits, and Otis Redding, staples of local country radio.

After fronting the blues-rock band Fitters and Tuners, Ted struck out on his own, debuting as a solo artist with the single “Home” in 2023. That year also saw the release of three more tracks, including fan favourite “Bring on the Sun”, which helped him amass over 14,000 streams in 2024, solidifying his place as a rising star in the indie music scene.

Now, Ted is preparing for the release of his highly anticipated new single “Lost Love”, dropping in February 2025. This track marks the first glimpse into his upcoming debut EP, a project that promises to showcase his artistic growth and deliver the rich, soulful sound fans have come to love.
